Interesting how the most innocent, most treasured smiles turn around to haunt as the heaviest of burdens on this overworked, cholesterol-clogged heart.

Feeling bad about not picking up that crumpled cigarette packet. That I did’nt throw it is not reason enough to absolve me. That I had 2 out of the 20 in that pack is reason enough to let my guilty conscience drip me dry.
I let a little bit of myself die while trying to fit in. Let myself down and now suffering the consequences.
How come Belgium, Denmark and Germany are all famous for their beers but Netherlands is not? How did they not fall for this legen-waitforit-dary drink of the gods?
And since I’m still off twitter, I think I’d breathe this sigh of relief here – found my precious black notebook. Thus, a few hours of anxiety cut from preparation time. Though, still running behind by 3 hours at least.
Having spent much of the day off twitter, I thought I’d indulge myself by spending a few minutes on Quora. Saw 4 questions on my home page that made me switch of completely. The questions:

I think the proverbial Orkutiyas have reached Quora already. Time for me to quit?

It shouldn’t have surprised me when I found myself unconsciously switching on the TV this Sunday expecting to see a formula one race. My mind it seems, rightly, is wired to see sports on weekends in January.

Can’t even imagine the thought of Facebook shutting down. All those ‘friends’ and relatives I’ve successfully avoided would suddenly come flooding onto twitter and my privacy would be blown apart. Again!
No, please don’t spread such baseless rumours. I had almost deleted my twitter account in anticipation of the flood of new users!
