Still uneasy. Even skipped the run today, breaking a 10 day, 71Km streak 😞
Weeks of battling work issues with no results. Months of unanswered emails. Days of no running, weeks of no swimming, months of no cycling, year of no hiking.
There is no bright spot.

Back home, I’m struggling to open my eyes at 8:30 AM.
Today, by 8:30 local time (7:30 UK), I was wide awake and itching to go for a run, but for the foot and knee injuries. I’d already finished Twitter, Facebook, Google+, BBC News, GReader, and email.
Weird.
37°C outside. 120 passengers on the top deck. 2 split ACs set to 18°C.
The 10 in front of the AC are freezing, ones in the back are dripping rivers of sweat. We’re in the middle. Suffering, but not enough to earn the right to complain.
Bad day in office + no long runs for 2 consecutive weekends = making coffee at midnight and settling in for a night out on the laptop.
Successfully rescued Chewie’s balls1 without getting stung, bitten, or scratched. Had to dress like an Eskimo, in peak British summer, for 10 mins though.

Now, if only we could rescue the 3rd ball lost under the garden shed, it’ll even the score.
A relaxing, 3-day vacation left me so tired that I dropped flat, asleep right after finishing a 500ml Coke Zero bottle to keep me awake.
