This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you install and use any of the following extensions (the App) published by Aditya Bhaskar - Clutter Free, AutoConvert Select, Todo.txt for Chrome, Accelereader for Instapaper, Accelereader for Pocket, Pastel new tab, and Word Counter.

PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We do not use Google Analytics, or any other analytics tools to track usage of the Apps.

If Chrome sync is enabled, Google may sync some of the extension settings between your browser installations.

This paragraph only applies if the App you are using provides login functionality via Google or Dropbox. When you log-in to the App, we are provided certain information by the login provider - Dropbox or Google (the “File Providers”). This includes information about your display name, email address and profile photo. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Profile Information.”

This paragraph only applies if the App you are using provides login functionality via Instapaper. When you log-in to the App, we are provided certain information by Instapaper (the “Backend Provider”). This information may include your display name, email address and profile photo. The App also periodically syncs with the Backend Provider to retrieve and store your bookmarks and related information (URLs, folders, dates, etc). We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Profile Information.”

This paragraph only applies if the App you are using provides login functionality via Instapaper. When you log-in to the App, we are provided certain information by Pocket (the “Backend Provider”). This includes information about your display name, email address and profile photo. The App also periodically syncs with the Backend Provider to retreive and store your bookmarks and related information (URLs, tags, dates, etc). We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Profile Information.”

This paragraph only applies if the App you are using provides tab management and de-duplication features. The app collects URLs for frequently closed duplicate sites. These are stored in the internal storage provided by the browser, and are deleted when you remove the app. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Duplicate Tabs Information.”

This paragraph only applies if the App you are using provides supporter donations using PayPal. When you make a donation through the App, PayPal may collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, billing zip code, shipping address, payment information (including credit card numbers), email address, and phone number. PayPal only shares limited transaction related data with us - we refer to this information as “Order Information.”

This paragraph only applies if the App you are using provides top visited sites feature. When “Top Visited Websites” are enabled, the App has access to the user’s top visited website URLs. However, this information is only stored locally in the user’s browser for the purpose of display within the app. This information is never tranferred by the App outside the local installation. This information is automatically deleted when the user removes the app.

Subscription and supporter related paragraphs only apply if the App you are using provides supporter subscriptions. When you make a subscription purchase through the App, Stripe may collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, payment information (including credit card numbers), email address, and phone number. We refer to this information as “Order Information.”

For supporters, the App may store an irreversible, encrypted hash of your email address and File Provider name, alongside your Order Information to our server to enable syncing subscriptions with other browsers and the Todo.txt app for Android. The email address and File Provider are encrypted in the App before transmission to the server. We refer to this information as “Subscription Syncing Information.”

When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are talking about Profile Information, Order Information and Subscription Syncing Information.

HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

We do not use the Order Information that we collect generally. We may use this Order Information if we are contacted by you, the user, for confirmation or cancellation of an order.

Your Profile Information may be used to pre-fill fields in the feedback form - only when you use it from within the App. This information may be changed or removed by you before submitting the feedback form.

The Subscription Syncing Information is only used for syncing subscription status across Android and Chrome browsers where you are signed in. We do not use this information for any other purpose outside the App.

We do not use the Profile Information outside of the App for any other purposes.

We do not use the Duplicate Tabs Information outside of the App for any purposes.

SHARING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

We do not share your Personal Information with anyone.

The File Providers may collect your information from logins, file syncs and other interactions. This information is not controlled or collected by the App.

YOUR RIGHTS

If you are a European resident, you have the right to access personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. If you would like to exercise this right, please contact us through the contact information below.

DATA RETENTION

We do not collect or store any Profile Information outside the App. Any Profile Information provided when you login to the App is deleted when you logout from the App, or remove the App.

When you place an order through the App, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.

CHANGES

We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.
